A Break in the Clouds

If I would have been a church-goer, I would have said this is a sign from God. Since I don’t believe in supernatural, I’ll just settle for the term “bizarre weather occurrence”, captured on film in Madeira, a Portuguese archipelago in the north Atlantic Ocean. The photographer has yet to discover what was under that spotlight.

Got something to say?

Nah…god had nothing to do with that…it was aliens!
Be a real man and let us download the RAW file.
’shopped.
Indeed it is shopped, check out the Exif Data;
Software/Firmware Version = Adobe Photoshop CS2 Windows
I call it natures spotlight.
You know, the EXIF data changes even when brought into photoshop for cropping.
That doesn’t automatically make it fake.
Looking at it closely (way zoomed in) I don’t see any JPEG artifacts that necessarily give it away as a ’shop.
While loading it into PS, even if just for cropping/re-sizing, doesn’t automatically mean it’s been shopped, but it does bring doubt to mind. There are a myriad of other, simpler, less criticized programs to do simple editing with ( the simplest of which being basic MSPaint) that could have been used to make it seem less shady.
Also, I can totally tell from the pixels. And I’ve seen a few shops in my time.
The return of GOATSE!!!
He’s A Photographer, is it possible that MAYBE he changed the Overall Colour? or just lightened it up a bit? These Sort Of Things Happen All The Time, Its Just The Sun Comming Through the clouds, With A Propper Filter On The Camera Its Amazing What U Can See.
