Why don’t you do the math? Take the weight of one adult, add the weight of the protective enclosure to keep that adult alive in space. Add food and water for a couple of days. Now, calculate the energy needed to raise that weight from ground level all the way up to the Moon. Remember, you can’t “fly” as you said; there is no air.

Now, figure out the cost of that energy at today’s prices. (I’m being generous; tomorrow’s energy will be more expensive. And your vehicle will be quite inefficient).

What was your answer? Can you afford the trip? I don’t think so. I think Moon Holidays are like Robot Servants and Flying Cars; dreams that distract us while we wreck the planet where our children will have to scrape a polluted living.
