Riding the bus is not usually a pleasant experience. All the sweaty workers coming home, many smells combining and you won’t find very nice people. Luckily, you can enjoy some pleasant moments while waiting for the bus, more precisely in one of these creative bus stops advertising agencies came up with.

Number 4, the thatched one - we actually have some bus stops like that in Britain. Yes we do.
#5, the spaceshippy one, although verging on wacky, and could be a one-off installation, it looks to me like it could be a piece mass installed unified look “outdoor furniture” that many cities are doing nowadays.
I hope the couch in the first (and last) pic is covered in plastic, or it’ll be covered in bodily fluids in no time. At least, it will if it’s in America, lol.
@rocksy - the couch is in America - New York to be precise.
I would have rated it 5/5 if you’d have told me where any of these bus shelters are.
FWIW, I wish we had a glassed in shelter like the thrid from the bottom here in Montreal, in winter, when it’s 20 below outside.
# 5 is in Dubai and are air-conditioned bus stops because it gets too bloody hot here in summer
As far as I know, the second image is part of a series created by students from an art college in Scotland. They would go around in the middle of the night turning bus shelters into living rooms.
The second on is on unst in shetland, scotland. Theres a guy that looks after it and changes it. I think it’d have to be pretty enterprising students to get to that bus stop, its kinda remote.
ok
