Huge Tornado in Russia
I’m a fan of fast-everything, including this smashing tornado, with a speed of 10-20m/sec. With a subtropical climate, the city of Surgut, one of Siberia’s oldest cities, is not used to this kind of weather. Luckily, some guys caught it on cam for us to see. Here’s one mean tornado that produced two offsprings.

Great pics, but not that big of a tornando. I'm a meteorology major, and 20 m/s is only an F0. That said, the smaller tornado that can be seen in the transformer blowing picture is more indicative of F1-F2 tornadogenesis, and the little bit of visible damage seems to indicate that 20 m/s would be low as well, so the wind speeds may be significantly higher than that, but it is difficult to tell without pictures of the damage

Not exactly huge I have to agree. That type of thing doesn't even send us to our basements here in Kansas LOL Beautiful pictures though. Awesome video. Amazing bravery as well, especially considering how you guys don't get much over there. :) -Eric

I'm no meteorology major, but aren't those considered waterspouts as well?

It doesn't look very large, but where it was and what it did was astounding.
