I’ve restored a 1952 Motorola Set. Recycling the chassis, but keeping all the pots that control channel select, picture settings, volume, tone etc…, and remouned them on a small stip of metal so you don’t lose the LOOK of the original knobs. I slightly rebuilt the inside of the beautiful cabinet to accept an inexpensive modern 27″ TV. The set he took apart lookes like a 70′s model. He will be growing weaponized mold spores within the year. Thank god he did’t kill a real vintage set! Reno in Seattle. Say HI to the cat!

I wouldn’t do it but i would have it restored and some old tv’s mite be worth alot of money you just plug a digital tv set top box into it and i see it if it still works just keep it in a spare room to watch sport or let the kidds watch tv. I still have a 14″ colour tv that is about 8 years old the pitcher is as good when i took it out of the box and the focus is perfect it wouldn’t have done 5000 hours it was a bedroom tv

First of all, to all the people responding to “Shopped (shooped), I’ve seen quite a few shops in my day, you can tell by the pixels… etc” Its a very tired internet meme. It MAY disappear if noobs like you can stop responding to it.

I hope the person that made this aquarium at least goes through the effort to replace (just glue it in) the knob and vent on the side to make it look at little more finished.
