Gold-Plated, Tacky Keyboard

Everytime people want to create something luxurious and opulent, they end up getting some of the tackiest objects around. The golden keyboard is no exception to that rule. This golden keyboard is probably one of the ugliest ones I’ve seen. The Wazakura Koubou’s Gold Plated Keyboard has been released in Japan (why doesn’t that surprise me?) with a retail price of around $270.

It’s not tacky because it’s HAND MADE! Looks a bit cheap until you realize this.

Absolute garbage. Not gold “plated” at all, maybe gold leaf.
And where are the function keys?
Looks like some took some Hersheys Kisses wrappers and glued them on keys and used a Sharpie to write the key assignments.
I would not pay a cent for that crap.
Not even good for a novelty item.
