With all the hype around the Dark Knight, someone was bound to something out of the ordinary and express his never-dying love for the movie. So just take some buckets of paint (white and black) and draw the biggest batsignal you can fit on such a field. Here’s a true statement from a Batman fan.

any hard core self-respecting fan would have lit up the place in flames.

Please. Any self-respecting hard-core Batman fan would have built their own Bat Searchlight. Not painted grass. How’s the guy gonna see that signal?

Puh-leeze.

any REAL self respecting hardcore batman fanatic wouldn’t care, they would just be stoked that someone did that in their backyard. Can I have one?

Any self-respecting hardcore Batman fan would be too busy reading comics at the same time as watching Batman re runs to have time to do anything like this.

I kicked batman’s ass and then my mom got scared And said, “You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.”I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare But I thought, “Nah, forget it. Yo home to Bel-Air!” I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8and I yelled to the cabby yo holmes smell ya later Looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.

Horrible photograph of the finished product. Couldn’t they have gotten a shot with the entire thing in view at once?

And I agree with DD about the flames. This needed a nighttime shoot.

Wow… I’m gonna leave now.

Izabael, I don’t think they had a helicopter, the last shot was probably just taken from a nearby hill. So the photographer was lucky to get as much as they did in one shot.
