I think this would be the perfect attraction for the person that chose the most horrible hotel room in Russia. The beaches in Saint Petersburg are something you don’t see everywhere. It’s a different experience, a place where you can mingle among the locals, take a dip in the infested waters or simply get a tan among the waste.

I’m from Saint Petursburg, and would like to say that this really gives people the wrong idea about Russia and Russians. -_- I recognize these places though. ~_^

What a crying shame!! However did we allow it to get that far. It is ashame I live in Florida and will probably NEVER want to visit St. Petersburg other than to perhaps assist in cleaning its once beautiful shores.

Lady D, That’s St. Pete in Russia, not Florida. Threw me off too. ;)

Actually I think that looks a lot like Florida Keys… fat rednecks and junk

Are the people in Saint Petursburg all blind and stupid? Do these people have no pride in their surroundings, what a disgusting embarrassing gross sad mess…

In Soviet Russia, we tell people like you to shut up!

Sadly you can find trashed out places almost anywhere. It must not bother anyone yet to do anything about it. But who are the slugs who litter in the first place?

Russia was part of the USSR. Any country that was part of the USSR isn’t exactly dandy, even now. Don’t judge, people. How about you DO something rather than sit there and say, “Aw, shucks. That really sucks for them.” Come on, that is why everyone hates Americans.

they are careless … that’s what happens when you are interested only in money … and you don’t care about the environment

Um your blog is entitled WANT TO BE RICH, yet you accuse Russians of being interested only in money ? . . Do you understand the meaning hypocrite?
