Built in the 10 century in Abhaneri, India, the Chand Baori well was a great solution for the water problems back then. With the harsh weather conditions of the region, people were forced to dig ever deeper to find water. The amazing step wall building is a great example of the architectural excellence present in India a millennium ago. Chand Baori is one of the deepest step wells in India, with 3500 narrow steps and 100 feet deep (approximately the size of a 13-storey building). You might also know the fountain from being featured in the movie “The Fall“.

I often wonder about how my room would have look liked it I would have done the remodeling all by myself. A lot of things I wouldn’t know how to use properly.
