I have personally seen a 6 foot spiny lobster while night diving in the Caymans, as did everyone else on the dive that night

At 4 kg, that’s nowhere near the biggest. Our local aquarium has one in a tank that is over 10 kg, she’s named Dee Dee. The largest one ever caught was off Nova Scotia, and was 20.15 kg.

Definately not the biggest lobster, nor the best. I prefer the ones from the North Atlantic near north america, the ones with the big front claws. I saw a 26 lb, (11 Kilo), lobster for sale in the grocery store last year in Prince Edward Island.
