Chinese Sex Book for Children

November 6, 2008 - 29,469 views

Kids grow up so fast these days. And if you look below, you’ll see what I mean. Sometimes they even mature sexually sooner then expect it. And I mean that in a non-mollesting way. On the other hand, the people that conceived the book must have had some mollestation in mind. Here’s another dose of weird from the planet called China.

Why is that disturbing, its a book that explains how your body works, its natural !!!

Kids are allowed to watch violent cartoons where people get blown in pieces, but when a book explains how your sex organ works, its weard and people ask why oh why !!!

Its like the Jerry Springer show, when you see a naked boob, the censor it, but when they start fighting you can see it in close up zoomed from every angle… now thats weird

From the fourth picture down, the images aren’t necessarily from books for children. Here in Taiwan ‘cute’ is absolutely everywhere. Public safety warnings in places like hospitals, police stations, newspapers - EVERYWHERE - are all done in that cartoonish style. Westerners tend to find it disturbing, out of place, and often inappropriate.

If they are from a book aimed at children, then why would you suppose that it’s to do with entertainment rather than education? Sex education begins at the age of eleven or twelve - generally on starting high school - in my country.

As for the first three pictures, you’ll find much worse in Japanese anime and manga. I find it odd that given the range of such a genre you would pick on these three pictures in particular.

This is intelligent education designed to demystify normal human functions and to help control the main threat to human survival- overpopulation; What is messed up is way too prevalent American aversion of anything sexual and their addiction to everything violent. Sex is universal and normal- Violence is totally messed up! Violent video games are much more subversive than anything with sexual content!

Sex shouldn’t be a mystery. I believe the more information a child has, the better decisions he/she will make, of course the information needs to be age appropriate. I think something like this would be very helpful to a parent when trying to answer a child’s questions or explain something.

I find nothing disturbing in this book. Learning about bodily functions is part of our education. And we just happen to have sexual organs too.
As I understand from these pictures there is also a warning that children should not allow anyone to touch them where they don’t like it. Learning to say no and make others respect our bodies is an important lesson.
I really do not understand that so many Americans choose not to talk about sex to their children. The number of teenage pregnancies in the USA is extremely high compared with the Netherlands. I wonder why that is the case?

The thing I object to is that it’s NOT TRANSLATED. Some of the pictures can not be figured out (anthro sperm making comments) due to this.
