    There is a guy who does this UNDERWATER WITHOUT A CAGE.
    he was recently on the discovery channels.
    turns out with great whites there is a region on their nose especially in females that if you rub it they go into a sort of torpor.it is believed it is a pre mating signaling process.

    geo, that’s what that guy is doing. he’s testing the sensory nerves on the GW’s nose. doing this can put them into a catatonic state
