Show Me Some Love, Woman!

In most of the Western society, women show us love by cooking for them, washing clothes or taking care of the brats while we watch the game, play poker or other uber-masculine activities. In Asia, it’s a tad different. Women are so “headstrong” that they do all the heavy lifting, managing to transport even 10 bricks on their head. Either these women are so good at construction or their men are really lazy and inconsiderate.

It’s not that the women are headstrong and doing the heavy lifting voluntarily, its just that in that part of the world, women are second-class citizens and as such *MUST* do as their masters (the men) dictate! In some parts of the world, there is a distinct seperation of “mens tasks” and “women’s tasks”. This is just another example of men usurping the the women so that they can be lazy and be able to make as if they have actual power over the women.

Believe it or not, but the work these women do actually helps upbringing of their families. True, women are still abused by men in some parts of that world, but isn’t it true everywhere?
And what’s also true is that that part of the world gave the world a first woman Prime minister and first woman president decades ago while country like US is still enthused when a woman simply get a veep nomination!
