Art is not just some pencils or brushes on a canvas, sculpting or music. Sometime you find art in the m0st unusual places. Patrick Acton is using his creativity and tons of matches to build some incredible artwork. You might have seen his works on ABC’s Extreme, Makeouver, Home Edition, Home and Garden TV but also in magazines such as Highlights for Children, Reminisce, AAA Travel Wood, The Iowan and others. From all his projects, Patrick takes pride in the Harry Potter’s Hogwarts School and he is in the process of building the Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Omgudness, that took serious dedication. Well done. I was reminded of a guy on “That’s Incredible” who carved figures out of a single match stick. First time @ this site, its cool.

I guess art comes in many mediums. Thanks for posting. What does he do with all the match heads?
