Life-size Turanga from Futurama

There are many fans of Futurama out there, no doubt about it. And no wonder, since it’s a great, funny show. But from being a simple viewer to recreating its characters, there’s a long road. This guy here decided to recreate his favorite character - Turanga Leela. And not anyhow, he created a lifesize android, with a chip and even a cooling fan. Here’s the 101.

In one of my usual dull weekdays, while riding the subway I got hit by something totally unexpected. I was listening to music on my mp3 player, some chick got up, turned on the radio and started dancing. She was wearing a nice black dress and heels. Then she started slowly removing the dress in a very sleazy way and we all got a glimpse of the bikini. She then picked up an empty KFC bucket and started collecting change. She was a beggar, to everyone’s surprise. A few days later I read on a blog that she was advertising KFC. Similar to this, here is one hell of a brilliant advertisement for a pilot school.

When I was little (and this probably goes for most of us) I wanted to build the biggest sandcastle on the beach. My dream got shattered when a big fat guy ruined it, like a failed whale on the beach.Well, luckily, some guys thought they could bring this childhood dream back. Condom Flowers? WTF?

Flowers mean a lot, especially if a woman receives them from a man. With a box of chocolates, it really makes an impression on the lady. But today I come across condom flowers, after seeing a week ago condom dresses. Is there any better way to tell a lady you want protection? Guess not.

I’m not going to comment on the war or its usefulness, since it’s a sensible subject. I am just going to illustrate that Iraq is not only about weapons and terror. Oasis of the Sea - World’s Largest Cruise Ship

It’s yet to be finished, but with these artistic renderings, we get to see inside of the future record holder for the world’s largest ship, a serious competitor for another maritime wonder, Liberty of the Seas. Oasis of the Sea will be a luxurious traveling city, complete with shopping streets, bars, restaurants, an amphitheater the size of a football field. And if this didn’t blow you away, the ship is also equipped with its own micro-climate and rock-climbing walls. It will weigh around 220,000 tonne, be 1,081ft long and have 16 passenger decks.
Leopard vs. Crocodile

If you weren’t aware of it (and I wasn’t either) leopards actually take on crocodiles. A behavior that has been witnessed before but only recently caught on film by photographer Hal Brindley. Hal was taking photos of hippos in the Kruger National Park, South Africa, when the confrontation started. It truly is an epic battle!
