The Peach Backpack
July 29, 2008
From the package: “Peach has nothing to do with justification; it’s just a backpack with a sense of humor. ” Any comments apart from “wtf?”, “are you serios?” are useless. Here’s a a very odd backback, you’d probably want to wear just if you’re a sex-shop keeper.

Peel Trident - The Microcar
July 28, 2008
Taking about lack of comfort and the sore muscles I got from jugging, I give you one of the most uncomfortable drives around. It’s Peel Trident, a microcar first produced in 1965. The car is 72 in (183 cm) long and 42 in (107cm) wide, with a weight of 198 lb (90 kg). Needless to say, the car was a disaster. Still, this old guy enjoys riding it at various car expos. Here’s the little bugger!
The Sandcastle Hotel
July 26, 2008
When I was little (and this probably goes for most of us) I wanted to build the biggest sandcastle on the beach. Here is a little glimpse of the sandcastle hotel!

It’s a nasty thing when you have to go and you just can’t find something decent to use. Luckily, some people in Africa thought of the perfect solution that beats the hell out off going into the bush. It’s a baobab converted into a public toilet. The only thing that’s missing is some privacy. Some can’t go if others are watching.

The Starving Billionaires
July 21, 2008
Here is perhaps the only country where being a billionaire doesn’t mean hot chicks, cool wheels and a big house. The $100 billion banknote recently introduced in Zimbabwe is equal to just one U.S. dollar. The economical crisis started in 1980, when the country gained its independence, the inflation rate now being at 2.2 million percent. At the beginning of the year, the government started issuing of $1 million, $5 million, and $10 million and even larger, topping it all off with $500 million dollars. Here’s how a lot of money and little value looks like!
Gold-Plated, Tacky Keyboard
July 18, 2008
Everytime people want to create something luxurious and opulent, they end up getting some of the tackiest objects around. The golden keyboard is no exception to that rule. This golden keyboard is probably one of the ugliest ones I’ve seen. The Wazakura Koubou’s Gold Plated Keyboard has been released in Japan (why doesn’t that surprise me?) with a retail price of around $270.
