Show Me Some Love, Woman!

September 3, 2008

In most of the Western society, women show us love by cooking for them, washing clothes or taking care of the brats while we watch the game, play poker or other uber-masculine activities. In Asia, it’s a tad different. Women are so “headstrong” that they do all the heavy lifting, managing to transport even 10 bricks on their head. Either these women are so good at construction or their men are really lazy and inconsiderate.

I iz teebaggn

August 31, 2008

Has someone been a bad kitty? Is this a case of feline hazing? Or do these lil’ scamps take turns in the improvised hammock/swing? One can only guess what’s really behind this scene of playful mayhem. Perhaps someone ate too much catnip and went on a scratching binge, or left a little “present” in someone’s bed, and required a little punishment. At any rate, it’s certainly better than this asshole.

The Amazing Chand Baori Well

August 29, 2008

Built in the 10 century in Abhaneri, India, the Chand Baori well was a great solution for the water problems back then. With the harsh weather conditions of the region, people were forced to dig ever deeper to find water. The amazing step wall building is a great example of the architectural excellence present in India a millennium ago. Chand Baori is one of the deepest step wells in India, with 3500 narrow steps and 100 feet deep (approximately the size of a 13-storey building). You might also know the fountain from being featured in the movie “The Fall“.

The status of Islamic women is a controversial issue and luckily, we’re not going to tackle that. We’re going to take a look at how these girls spend their free time, even though they should probably cook, clean the house or serve their man. So here’s how some Arab girls have fun, according to pictures leaked from a girl’s phone . I bet under that black robe, those girls are really cute and outgoing.

I’m getting vertigo just by looking at this. Preikestolen, known in English as Preacher’s Pulpit or Pulpit Rock, a 604 meters cliff in Norway is one of the best places in the country to get a view of the valley, Lysefjorden. The major attraction is the top of the cliff, a 25 by 25 meters square and flat surface, visited by thousands of tourists every year. Here’s how it looks from the top!
