THE NURSE FROM HELL

One usually expects that when you take a loved one to a hospital you should expect care and compassion from the nurses there.

If, though, someone you care about happens to end up at a place like Sayo, Hyogo’s Sayo Common Hospital, let’s hope they don’t get a nurse like 26-year-old Saori Hamuro, who must be making Florence Nightingale turn over in her grave.

She confessed to authorities that she took out her “frustration” on some of her patients, including an 85-year-old whose ribs she broke by purposely putting weight on the frail individual’s chest. She admitted to similarly assaulting and causing physical injury to at least six other elderly patients unable to defend themselves against her violent actions.

All of these patients have passed away, and Hamuro has since been arrested. WTF?
