The bottom line is: if he cuts it it grows back even more voraciously, like a flower when you cut off the shoots.

And yeah, most of these aren’t emo. Pretty bad hair right enough, but mostly just idiots, not real emos. And if it says at the start that emoism is a new fad, why is there a woman from like the 1920’s in here? And a couple of big black guys, one in a pinstripe suit? Its physically impossible for them to be emos.

Exactly what I was thinking - only 2 of them are emo. Some gothy ones, some unkempt ones and some scene ones. You seem to call hairdos freaky just because a lot of hairclips were put in them. Obviously the moral here is forget individuality - we should all look how someone deems normal..

i find you to be just another stereotypical young prep(in their 13 to 16s) thinking they know what they are talking about…do yourself a favor. get facts straight, realize that not all emos have bad hair or bad hair makes emos. there is such thing as punk, goth, scene, emo, hardcore,grunge, prep, gangster, gangster diva, and many more. some of those are just anime japan lovers who take there fashion from japan. just get your facts straight. stop following the rest of the pack thinking the same and filling people in steretypes. they choose to look like that. get over it. emos will not take over the world or how ever you say that.

The whole Lolita thing is quite cute, but, seriously, why do so many chicks wear fake eyelashes and cover their entire eyelid with black eyeliner? It’s like wearing a ski mask, it hides the fact that behind all that raccoon-esque shit you’re just a wannabe. Same with the whole Hello Kitty/bats/diamonds thing. Wtf? Who decided randomly starting to like all that was cool? You can be beautiful and unique without following the crowd and becoming a scenester.

#10 has a name: the West Valley Wave. It is very popular in the midwest and I currently still laff every time I see it. It’s the super white-trash hairstyle around there.
and as for people’s hair falling out: I believe it. Do you really think that most of these girls have their hair professionally bleached? No, they do it at their friends’ houses before going to mope around Hot Topic, waiting for their moms to pick them up because they’re all fourteen and can’t drive anyway. (i know this firsthand: my sister is fourteen and she has a gaggle of girlfriends who do this). These girls don’t know the first thing about proper bleaching techniques (not that I do either) and their hair i probably fried to a crisp, what with the bleaching and coloring and color-stripping and straightening. And the pomades…oh the pomades… It’s all stupid. Why have your hair in you face anyway? Are you ugly? Acne-ridden? Are you wanted by the police? Don’t hide your faces, kids. It makes you untrustworthy.

These are all bad hair decisions regardless of the subculture. All scene or emo is is hair and status is determined by hair. And yes these girls are going to have their hair fall out or have to get a very short haircut to get rid of the dead hair. Whether it’s colored, bleached, or dreads (not to mention the amount of product needed for hair to look that shitty and i doubt any of them are using upscale heat styling products to prevent breakage). Not a single head in the listing is clean.
