STOP, IN THE NAME OF THE LAW!

Most of us think the first thing we should do when we see a drunk driver on the road is to call the cops. However, in one recent case in Riverside, California, the drunk driver was a cop…at least, a former cop and a former chief of police, at that.

The tanked-up 62-year-old had a bit too much to drink at a local tavern, but decided to jump behind the wheel of his Chrysler anyway. Before you could say, “Breathalyzer test!”, the ex-policeman drove into a fire hydrant
and was pulled over later by “The Law”. He also admitted to taking pain medication, which couldn’t have been good to mix with the eleven rounds he had at the bar.

Talk about irony! He may end up in the slammer with some old acquaintances. Don’t drop the soap, Chief!
