XXI WINTER OLYMPICS (NBC)

Let’s just be brutally honest, shall we?

The Winter Olympics is a huge yawn fest. With the exception of figure skating, hockey and snowboarding, there is nothing even remotely interesting enough to keep most people glued to their television sets.

Take, for instance, the sport of curling, While celebrated in some countries, it is unknown to the majority of Americans and, after attempting to watch it, it is small wonder that this is the case. We are hopelessly given to sports that require some kind of ball to be bounced, thrown,kicked, hit or caught and, since none of the activities in the Winter Olympics falls under that requirement, chances are that viewers are unlikely to tune in to all this stuff on ice.

Truthfully, I have had more fun watching guppies swim back and forth in an aquarium.

GLORIA ALLRED (MEDIA)

Like a stubborn pimple, this woman just keeps coming back with more absurd grandstanding on every television news commentary show that will have her.

This week she did the rounds with her latest client, a former porno star who is supposedly one of Tiger Woods’s infamous love interests and who claims that she was pregnant twice by him. According to Allred, her client was taken advantage of by the golf star, since she allegedly believed that Tiger was really in love with her.

The ever opportunistic Allred even insisted that Woods should have apologized directly to her client in his Friday announcement.

Sure, what Tiger did was idiotic, but the woman he owes an apology to is his wife Elin. None of of these chicks he cheated with were Little Red Riding Hood. They took as much advantage of his money and fame as he did their beauty and “availability.”

In my opinion, publicity hound Allred is obviously desperate to find a means for litigation to part Tiger Woods from some of his millions.

Hopefully, like some of her past attempts to stir up stink, her current efforts will prove futile as well.
