A New Way of Talking to the Fish

If you’re tired of looking for Davy Jones’ locker, you might want to try the next best thing. The Aquarium Phone Booth is an artwork that can be seen in Lyon, France, and was created as part of the Lyon Light Festival. “With the advent of the mobile telephone, telephone booths lie unused. We rediscover this glass cage transformed into an aquarium, full of exotically coloured fish; an invitation to escape and travel,“ said the 2 artists that created it - Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino.

The Crown Fountain

Created by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa, the fountain located in Chicago is an important addition to the city’s growing art collection. The Crown Fountain consists of two 50-foot glass block towers, with a pool the bottom. The towers project images of Chicago citizens, and splash water through an outlet, as if they were sputing it from their mouths. Here’s how the artsy project looks like.

Best of Burning Man: Art on Acid

The Burning Man gathering is an annual event held in the Black Rock Desert of Northern Nevada. It begins the Monday prior to Labor Day and concludes on the day of the American holiday.
