Hotel from Containers

Travelodge recently opened a hotel made entirely from prefabricated shipping containers. The 120-bedroom hotel is located in Uxbridge, England and uses 86 containers of different shapes and sizes.This new type of construction is reported to have save the owner over a million pounds and 10 years of construction work. The Balloon Festival

One of the most colorful and most exciting festivals is the Great Falls Balloon Festival, taking place August 15, 16 & 17 at Simard & Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston, Maine and Festival Plaza in Auburn, Maine. There are over 30 different balloons floating annually in the ski above Lewinston. Along with these, visitors get the chance to experience amazing fireworks displays, taste what over 30 food booths have to offer or take part in the parade. Here are just a few of the balloons!

A Bird’s Eye View

This special rock located deep withing Colombia is one raw, fascinating attraction of the country. To see the view from above, you have to conquer the 200m rock by climb the stairs numerous stairs to the top. Once there, a magnificent view awaits the visitor. To get down, you can either choose the stairs or pay for a ride with the balloon. La Piedra Del Penol is located about 2 or 3 hours north of Medellin deep in Antioquia.

The Cheapest Hotel Room

You’ll be amazed to find out how much this room costs per night. Compared to one of the over-priced, dirtiest hotel room we showed you in Russia, this tops it, as far as price and cleanliness is concerned. This room in a Chinese hotel only costs $2 a night and is equipped with everything you might need. It beats the hell of a dormroom and it’s certainly cheaper than my rent. Wishful thinking…
